Does This Sound Familiar?

The words of learners who felt exactly this, before they started speaking.

“All I did was learn grammar and listening. I never had a way to actually speak it.”

Gio 🇮🇩

“My confidence was low. I was so nervous in front of native Koreans.”

Jessica 🇺🇸

“There isn’t much chance for me to practise consistently, and I need feedback. There’s no point practising the wrong thing.”

Martha 🇦🇺

“I didn’t have any direction on where to keep learning, or how to structure it.”

Tobi 🇨🇦

You’ve already done a lot of the learning. Now you have the chance to turn more of that knowledge into something you can actually use.

I’ve been there

I studied English for 12 years and still couldn’t hold a real conversation.

Twelve years of grammar drills and exam prep. Then I moved to London and everyone spoke faster than anything I had practised, with expressions I had never seen written down anywhere.

Something changed when I stopped waiting to feel ready.

I started talking. Messy, imperfect, sometimes embarrassing. And slowly English stopped feeling like a language I was performing, and started feeling like mine.

That is what this programme gives you. Not more grammar. The space to finally use what you already know.

Lily, Korean speaking coach

Why speaking feels different

You can know a language without having a clear path to speak it.

Steffi describes what changed for her after having regular speaking practice and someone guiding her along the way.

“The muscle of speaking another language is vastly different from thinking and reading and writing in it.”

The method

How it works

You’ll have lessons and materials to guide your learning, but speaking is at the heart of the programme.

Every
weekday

Your daily speaking rep

You send me a short voice or video message in Korean, on your own schedule. I reply to every one. Not a cold correction sheet, but a real answer, plus a cleaned up version of what you said, so you can hear the better way to say it and record it again.

Every
week

Live group calls where you actually speak

You practise out loud with me and a small group at your level. Everyone gets the chance to speak, and you get to practise responding to real people rather than only preparing answers in advance.

Between
sessions

Ask me when you’re not sure

If you’re wondering whether something sounds natural, or how a Korean would really say it, you can bring it to me and I’ll reply by voice. A real answer, based on the Korean you actually want to use.

Questions

Is this one to one or a group?

It is a small group. You get plenty of my attention on the calls and a reply to every message you send, while also getting regular opportunities to speak with other learners at a similar level.

Is it a course or live coaching?

It combines both. You’ll have video lessons and materials to guide your learning, while the core of the programme is regular speaking practice, live conversation, and personal feedback from me.

What level is the programme for?

The programme is designed for B2 learners who can already talk about familiar topics in Korean and want to become more comfortable expressing themselves in greater detail and with less hesitation.

If you’re unsure, try speaking out loud about “새로운 친구를 사귀는 법”. If you can comfortably develop your thoughts around the topic, you’re likely around the level this programme is designed for. If that feels difficult right now, the B1 Confidence Booster Challenge may be a helpful place to build that foundation first.

How much time do I need?

About an hour a day. No big study blocks, no rigid schedule. The goal is to build Korean into your life, with regular speaking practice that you can actually keep up with.

What does it cost?

Every learner's roadmap is a little different, so once you apply, I'll walk you through exactly what fits your goals and schedule.

What happens when I join the waitlist?

You’ll be the first to know when applications open for the next cohort. Joining the waitlist doesn’t commit you to anything, and there’s no payment required.

Two ways in

Not sure which stage is right for you?

Both are designed to help you speak more Korean. The difference is the stage you’re at and how much support you’re looking for.
